Soho has always been uniquely different. As a local neighbourhood of the University of Westminster, it shares our characteristics of diversity and difference, which is why this year’s Difference Festival focuses on this distinct part of London.

We are planning a social evening for members and special guests on 23 February 2018 in the Community Hall with some musical entertainment from the fabulous Rob Melvin, the in house pianist from the Groucho Club. If you are a member and want to reserve a place please e-mail
This event will involve some Christmassy activities. If you would like to help then please go to our volunteer page.
We are looking for donations of gifts to sell at our fair in aid of the Society. If you have anything you would like to donate then send us an e-mail.
There will be a range of stalls selling Christmas Gifts and second-hand goods.
Minced pies and mulled wine will be sold. Tombola tickets.
Guess the weight of the Christmas Cake, and the closest to the real weight wins the cake.

We have a show from Celine and Matt. Matt Deveraux is an established composer, pianist, comedian who’s comical ditties compliment his stunning music. Celine Hispiche is a comedy cabaret performer who brings the history of London through songs and musical monologues.
It's going to be a dog and LGBTQ friendly evening.
