date on which a valid application was received, latest at the top, oldest at the bottom.
Applications are selected for inclusion here according to the following criteria:
- the application should be within the jurisdiction of Westminster City Council, 64 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6QP, United Kingdom,
- the application should be topical (pending), i.e. currently undergoing or having recently undergone a process of application, assessment and decision within the licensing department of
Westminster City Council,
- the street address for which an application has been made is located in Soho,
i.e. that part of central London which is located within a closed boundary defined by
Regent Street (even numbers, north of Piccadilly),
Shaftesbury Avenue (north side:odd numbers, south side:even numbers),
Charing Cross Road (odd numbers), and
Oxford Street (even numbers).

WCC’s four licensing objectives are ..
- the prevention of crime and disorder,
- public safety,
- the prevention of public nuisance,
- the protection of children from harm.
The Soho Society may in its discretion comment upon a licensing application. However, communications and objections in respect of licensing applications must be lodged in writing or on-line with the licensing department of Westminster City Council
by the relevent date shown on the WCC web-site and not with the Soho Society.
